Armed Assault BETA Patch 1.09 (Released)
Armed Assault

It seems Bohemia Interactive felt it would be a good idea to give the Armed Assault Community a nice little present just in time for the Holiday Season. The long awaited 1.09 patch is now here but be aware; it's still only in public BETA form.

The nice thing about this patch is that you can install it and run it from a BETA.exe within your ArmA directory. If you still want to use your 1.08 install you still can simply be clicking on your existing desktop and shortcut.exe's.

I've spent a little time with the patch and so far it's a huge improvement over 1.08. Of course I still have yet to see any AI enhancements or pathfinding issues resolved but the 8800 fog issue is gone and the game runs much smoother now to work on ArmA's vegetation.

So far I'd say the patch is a much needed improvement if you’re a fan of ArmA as I am.

GamingIn an attempt to breathe some life into gamemoviemaking.com, we've added some General Gaming Discussions to our Forum Area. Currently we've added First Person Shooters and Simulations to the forum but we're more than willing to add more forums and forum categories should member feedback request it.

Theme Related Issues
Site NewsThere seems to be some site level issues that are connected to our current sites theme (for whatever reason). I've tried virtually everything I can think of to correct the issue but nothing has worked. In fact, not even using archived backups has corrected the functionality so I'm forced to re-skin this site once again.

Please note that due to this long and rather involved process, the sites aesthetics may appear somewhat less than "desirable" from time to time. Please bear with me as I am working hard to correct all site-level issues so we can kick start this place.

Armed AssaultWell the game is out and if anyone has any doubt, it is still a bit buggy but overall kix aysh on any other game out there.
